#Roadtherapy on my #Firenze. Windier than expected, can't feel my fingers. Planned 25 to get ahead of mileage goal, cut short when I realized I couldn't feel my fingertips. No heron seen. Ending week 3 of 2023 almost exactly at my mileage goal (120 miles). Some #winter #roadtherapy. Trying to catch up to my goal mileage. A good 5 heron trip along the White River. Was planning 25, but started feeling the lack of cartilage in my left knee so cut short. Opted for #studdedtires, but only a few small slick patches. Turned out to be useful for the gravel stretches in construction areas (tire width, not studs). I'm now only 10 miles behind my 2023 #cycling goal. #greenwaytrail

Managed to make myself get motivated enough to head out for some #roadtherapy. Planned 10ish miles, but kept going. A single heron trip along the White River. Surprisingly crowded for the cold temperature.
Need to average about 40 miles per week to get my goal for the year. Already about 20 miles behind.

Made my 1000 mile goal with a closing 25 mile, 6 heron ride on my #Firenze. Total for 2022 of 1002.74 miles (164 recorded activities), 980.46 (155 rides) of which was #cycling, mostly #commuterbike rides. I believe this was my first year with less than 1000 cycling miles. However, this mad push for 60 miles in three days is, I think, my first 3-day streak of the year. I have not been recovering fast enough to push even back-to-back riding days since my illness. Hope it's a trend. #greenwaytrail

There are many reasons, but the big one was starting the year off with a very serious infection that went without proper treatment due #Omicron making healthcare resources scarce. Hoping to carve out about 2 hours tomorrow to prevent falling below the millenium mark for the first time in a decade. #greenwaytrail

My planned 58+ miles this week to get me over 1000 for the year was delayed due to a debilitating migraine Monday and Tuesday, with a tentative approach to activity Wednesday. Set out for 12-15 miles, but kept going. A 3 heron ride on a partially #icy White River #greenwaytrail. Glad I opted to go with my #studdedtires as there were a few patches of ice and a near fall in thick slush. 36 mile to go in 2 more days of 2022. #cycling #readingridingresearch #roadtherapy
