His macho father was determined to sign that bill, regardless of his purported love for his progeny. Had the governor refused to endorse his party’s bigotry, he would have looked like a namby-pamby pushover father caving in to his queer kid. Can’t have that now, can we… certainly not in the ranks of the GOP.
