Ok, 20ish iterations later I think,
I THINK, my brain has settled on an alternate numbering.
It doesn't flow quite like the script I use for writing.

Bit it fits the bill for being able to use with string/cord, or simple carving.

As a test a year ago, I wrote some stuff down in YE MOFT HOLIE (an unused I had laying about, as you do) using some black light reactive () pens, because that's cool.

so if you're considering this, you need to know that the ink WILL bleed. Not outwards (the text is still pretty well defined) but up and down. The pages preceding the page with the text and after it all have ghosted imprints of the text on them. The backside of the page is almost a mirror image.

Cool effect, and one you can work with. Happy accidents and all that. Just don't set down to writing a lengthy manuscript in ink over multiple pages and expect it to be readable ("archival") in the future.

I use a modified non Latin/english alphabet based script for , promenently so in my . I've recently endeavored to re-work the numerals used in this script as they're clunky.

I have the itch to make the new numerals something that could translate to tied strings and easy carving.

Why?
Fuck if I know.
Maybe trail markings or prayer poles... My brain gets ideas and doesn't always share where it's going with it.
