Instead management has hired expensive lawyers and instituted a retaliatory return-to-office and relocation policy intent on pushing out the departments with the most union supporters. Additionally phase 2 of this “plan” is still undefined and shows the slapdash and retaliatory manner this was made.

We firmly disagree with that statement.

If he truly supported our rights Grindr would voluntarily recognize our union. Our union that we have asked for since Thursday July 20th. Management can choose to stop wasting resources and recognize our union at any time.

This retaliation confirms all of my suspicions that this management intends and desires to rule by fear. They don’t want no questions, no opinions, no objections; and I think hunk that’s an awful and unsustainable way to run a business. They joined in October 2022. They didn’t build Grindr. We the workers build Grindr.

This week 8/17 and also 8/31 are the deadlines for accepting the false choice of severance or relocating (for most of us cross-country).

Employees have two months from 8/3 to 10/3 to make a decision, find a new place, complete a move, break leases or sell homes, and satisfy management by visibly placing their ass in a chair. All while working full-time in the interim.

Two months is barely enough time to close on a home sale by the skin of your teeth *after* you’ve found a buyer. #GrindrUnited
