A somewhat #gothic #garden find, two #birdsnest fell from the ivy while pulling it down/cutting it back, one contained a tiny complete chick #skeleton and also an unhatched egg beneath it. A #gardening surprise. Not sure of the species; robin, wren and blackbird all had nests in there last year. It looks too big to be the wren, blackbird & robin both had fledged broods. So it looks like one more hatched but didn’t get that far #GrisleyFind #delicate #bones #nature #birdphotography
