Oof. Hopefully I can finish the main campaign before the game falls over at some stage in the future.

I originally played Marvel's Avengers in Beta, didn't like it, ended up buying it on sale, and have played through a chunk of it, but... it just feels a bit grindy, and the in-game microtransactions aren't actually that micro, and really takes another edge off the game.

See, the bones of a really interesting game and story were in there, but it just never quite felt like it gelled.

It's no small irony that everything I saw of Marvel's Midnight Suns left me uninterested in playing, but I was really enthusiastic about Marvel's Avengers, but at the end of the day, Midnight Suns keeps pulling me back, and Avengers is just... there. At least for now.
