I only saw it in passing but I assumed it was “tell us the ingredients you have and we will suggest a recipe (and find missing ingredients)”.

Nope. It was “enter the URL of a recipe and we will find the ingredients in the store. That’s about as dumb as it sounds, a solution that solves no problems.

I have a #question for #GroceryMastodon and/or #PickleMastodon in the #US.

Where are the #sweet #pickle #salad cubes?? Why have they been off #grocery shelves ever since the #pandemic started?

I used to put sweet salad cubes in my #tuna fish salad but for the last 2½ years, I've had to settle for sweet relish and it's just not the same.

Anyone know these little square pickles are gone? I feel kinda silly for asking but it's been bugging me for years now.

#Costco is the only exception as they are a *private membership* and you agreed to it when you joined.

Sometimes it's impossible to buy lots of food in bulk at once- can't carry it all home, can't afford it, etc. But I've found that buying a few bulk ingredients each trip means I don't need to buy each ingredient every trip. One time I get rice, next it'll be nuts, next it's spices or other things.

Saves me money AND packaging.

This tells me the delivery person never eats fresh fruit, because that is a woeful error.
