Going to play around with Traveller ship combat today. I've a scene in a scenario that requires a bit of shooty ships but a quick test felt a bit procedural and underwhelming for a 1 shot. Might make it a dogfight with lots of little fighters (aka mooks) instead #ttrpg #rpg #traveller #grogsquad

@thedicemechanic there’s at least one other faction that they could link up with. Plus I was toying with the idea of a shadow party for a bit of competition and give a sense of urgency. The PCs find an old campsite here, a Dimetrodon corpse there … And it’s a source of characters if any of the original PCs get killed … #Grogsquad

@Lintillaz to make a hex crawl work, you need a core driver - why are the PCs exploring. Clasically, it's wealth, so that's easy: seed stuff with treasure. If it's something else, you need to adapt accordingly. #Grogsquad

Hex crawls - lots more work than you’d think. Easy to come up with lots of weird things in the landscape, but harder to think of reasons why PCs would want to interact with them! #Grogsquad

Another fab night's #Dragonbane alongside #Grogsquad @ToreNielsen @madmoses @Dozy139 @huwbowen @_AndyHemming with demon-flown cows, raining frogs, leather posing pouches for all, cultist eradication, and a training montage with a cartwheeling duck in plate armour. LOVE this game.
