NEW BLOG POST!

Continuing our look at the 1923 & staff safety, we ask - what *didn't* change?

Certainly the accidents - but a great many railway companies carried on operating & weren't merged. Might this have had an impact on staff safety?

NEW BLOG POST!

The railway of 1923 had a huge impact on the industry's structure - but did it have any impact on staff safety & accidents?

Our new blog post poses some difficult questions & starts to analyse what the project database tells us!

NEW BLOG POST!

New year - new beginnings for the railway industry. Or at least, 100 years ago, with the railway .

How did bringing together 120 companies into 4 new organisations affect staff safety?

1923 the railway created the 'Big 4' railway companies - tho' the GWR already existed, as seen in the South Wales News (now @walesonline@twitter.com).

The GWR carried on having staff accidents: 838 feature post-1922 in our free database:

I definitely need some sort of or . I just went to β€œcommunity” and realised that after 5 minutes of scrolling, I just looked at posts in the last 7 minutes 🀯. But filtering will also reduce my chances of accidentally discovering a great post. Is it possible to achieve this here? What’s the best approach?
