I don't think it's sustainable that the fediverse AFAIU causes each instance that wants to 'show the whole' also has to cache/store all relevant content from all other instances, locally.

I know we have cheap storage nowadays, but it still seems wasteful and ecologically/-nomically unsustainable. Especially as the fediverse grows leaps and bounds.

I've also lost Xbanish, and there doesn't seem to be any kwin setting to automatically hide the mouse cursor when typing, which is super annoying (macs got this right in the 80s, people!). I also have a weird thing where the mouse cursor is two different sizes depending on what part of the window it's hovering over O_o

And there doesn't seem to be anything like xdotool for Wayland (wtype only covers the virtual keyboard function, not the window functions)

The problem with upvoting, is that not everyone 'votes'. Not everyone searches for that specific, initial request, so now there may be 100 requests for the same feature (over time) with very low up-votes. Try a search for "URL hover" on your forum. You will see what I mean.
