Leaving the house this morning, I hand The #Teen two collapsed #boxes, saying "deal with those", as I had my hands full with <stuff> (keys, coffee etc.). Returning 60s later having eft my cell phone inside, I see the two cardboard boxes placed aesthetically on the other side of the mudroom. "What the crap?" I say getting into the car and throwing the boxes into the #recycling. "Well, you didn't say *how* to deal with them." <angry glower> "You're really #grumpy before coffee you know that?".

I really need to pull myself out of this funk before I badly spiral.
Maybe its just a crash after such a good day on Wednesday, maybe I just feel overwhelmed with stuff breaking and more health issues.

I don't bloody know, but I'm pissing myself off with it and I really don't want to end up snapping at people for no reason!

über unseren paketpostler, der auch immer einen schmattes bekommen hat, habe ich nichts kommen lassen. gestern und heute beim nachbarn im parterre die pakete abgegeben. das waren pakete, die ich mir auf grund des gewichts extra online bestellt habe. jetzt kann ich sie raufschleppen. heute ist wieder ein tagerl. ich fühle mich im moment wie tom hanks "ein mann namens otto".

I failed my CON save a few days ago and got sick. (not COVID, but still not fun)

Last night, I failed my DEX save (DC was prob 8, or lower), and stepped on something like an idiot, cutting the sole of my foot. It's not a terrible cut (very minimal blood loss), but it's at the weight-bearing part of my foot, and it's super annoying to walk on it.

And all I can do is vent to my family, vent on Discord, and vent here. I really could've used paladin's save-buffing aura. 😕

Okay, I get it. App store ratings help developers but that doesn’t mean you should make your app constantly nag users for ratings, especially if there is no option for “Don’t ask me again:. All the nagging just makes me want to leave a 1 star rating out of spite. Just make a good, useful and in my case, accessible app and the ratings will come. I only rate the apps I really love. Your app may be fine but if I don’t love it, I’m not rating it. I just don’t feel like it. Communicating is exhausting and I only have enough energy to rate the very best. So, please, just leave me the hell alone or give me an option to opt out of the nagging because some of us just don’t want to share and it’s fine. #Rant #Grumpy #LeaveMeTheHellAlone

It might be that I'm particularly grumpy but I bought an ebook today. And when I was sent the information it included the fact I then had to download the bookseller app to access the ebook. I don't want yet another freaking app to do something. Is this even legal in Australia? Where was this info pre-purchase.

I just want all my books on the one shelf, not on separate proprietary shelves these booksellers demand I set up in my space. I don't require (even more) retailers inserting their apps into my world just so I can access something I bought. Gimme my stuff and I'll put it where I want. No one buys a car only to be told it can only be driven on some roads that need to be approved before driving off. Digital things are still things. I want to use the things I buy how I need to.
