A short story for you geographers out there.

I was in #NYC this past week and finally got the chance to visit 1804 Books, a lefty bookstore-slash-lending-library.

While I was there, I found a copy of Neil Smith’s excellent book “American Empire.”

I opened it up and inside was a brief but touching inscription from Neil Smith to #DavidHarvey. Photo below.

David, by the way, is teaching his course on the #Grundriße in #1804Books this term.
