to the first Alice in Chains studio album, Facelift, released in 1990. Not a big fan of this one. It's too long, and none of the songs stand out from the pack as they do on Dirt, released 2 years later. I don't know the self-titled 1995 album as well, and it's even longer. But there's more variety in the tracks than on Facelift.

What's your go-to spot for game music? I'm fine paying if it means I find what I'm looking for.

I want early to mid 90's grunge. Vocals ok. Searched a ton of sites, but a lot of misuse of the "grunge" tag. I found this one site/user who uploaded a bunch of German grunge, but honestly it sounds too good and is probably ripped off from someone. But, it's the sound of what I'm looking for.

Alice in Chains is obviously best known as a band and rightly so. But I'd like to posit that their best work is when they're creating what's more accurately /

That's not saying their grunge isn't some of the best stuff that came out of the 90s in my opinion (and some of their newer stuff is great too) but as blues rock they're even better.
