5. TTRPG you've played the most
When I first started playing TTRPGs, both online and in person, I played a LOT, of the Fantasy Flight Warhammer 40K games, which are all same d100 system focused on different aspects of the Imperium. Rogue Reader and Dark Heresy stood out the most.
In Rogue Trader, I accidentally convinced my partner's character character not to throw themselves into a disappearing Eldar temple...

I actually started making notes for a Wretched & Alone game about a charlatan mystic who has come to care for the people they are fleecing and has to juggle their shame and lies with the genuine advice they wish to give and the people who mean something to them.

3. A published NPC that had a lasting impression on you (2/2)
Farallax, white dragon fledgling, #DnD 4e Redbox
Still possibly the only dragon I've encountered as a player in all my years and it was in my first ever session. My partner was DMing for first time and I had the absolute pleasure of watching them become Farallax and absolutely roleplay the shit out of this sassy, pompous dragon...
3. A published NPC that had a lasting impression on you (1/2)
Rexus Victocora, #Pathfinder Hell's Rebels by @Amazonchique https://pathfinderwiki.com/wiki/Rexus_Victocora
Rexus was the first trans character I was ever aware of, and it wasn't until after the game ended that I found out. At the time I thought I was a cishet man, playing in a group of cishet men, run by my, at the time, considering themselves a cisbi woman. Oh, how the turns have tabled...

3. Cont. Honorable Mentions
Adaptable NPCs series from Grim Press, #DnD 5e
https://www.dmsguild.com/m/product/300586?affiliate_id=1507682
Just the most ridiculous cheat in a question with already toy many answers, as a whole series of books of NPCs, but they're so bloody brilliant!
3. Cont. Honorable Mention:
Scoriaptrak, Adult Red Dragon, #DnD 5e Last March of the Tyrant Wyrm by Jean Lorber, Jeff C. Stevens
https://www.dmsguild.com/m/product/299856?affiliate_id=1507682
A truly singular NPC in an entirely original adventure. A once proud fearsome dragon dictator, brought low, befriended by a Druid who shared his cell, now old, wounded, enchanted, & depressed. This reformed monster's (dictator) soul hangs in the balance and is up to the party to guide them, literally and figuratively. Inspired!
3. A published NPC that had a lasting impression on you
Honourable mention:
Lulu, the Hollyphant, #DnD 5e To Hell and Back Again by Kienna Shaw and Donathin Frye (Baldur's Gate: Descent into Avernus)

Just the most adorable and fun to roleplay NPC I've had the pleasure of voicing in the most absurd and enjoyable way ever. I've never seen her in the campaign, but the fantastic solo adventure (I ran a bunch for myself, duet, and 2 players) she is EVERYTHING
