never used Notion, but a 10m read of their site, I see why it’s confusing. It’s a SAS for online businesses.
In SAS (big arse German accounting software Co.) you have consultants who do a business analysis of your work, create the product using s/w to customise input/reporting forms. And it works. Teams would do this, take months, years to do it.
Notion lets everyone define their use in what SHOULD be a ‘single product’ with API and software Wizards to build a custom use.
As it stands users are sold a bunch of vegetables. Now build your custom soup 😫🤓🤪

Read an interesting article this morning on #TechBrew about the US's approach to #AI #compliance in light of the EU's new #AILaw. Apparently, the #US is currently taking a #voluntary approach to #AIGovernance rather than putting #bipartisan legislation in place to enforce #guardrails to protect us from ourselves. I hope this is a temporary position, simply because of our #SplitCongress, and not because they haven't thought of it. 🤞 I know the #AIOverlords have been put on notice, but no formal laws in place yet here. I like the perspective of the EU AI Law, just needs some fine tuning. Other developed nations should follow suit sooner than later IMHO. What are your thoughts?

There are voluminous amounts of docs created by each administration. The experts - #archivists, #librarians, #historians, are critical and yet their role has been undermined. Bring back the experts, follow the process and procedure. No #guardrails = this mess. Sadly, 2024 will only bring more trouble. #AI cannot do most jobs....just my thoughts.
