I now have four containers in the freezer & one small one in the fridge plus a wee bowl to have with yoghurt for dessert tonight. I also have purple fingers 😂. My tree might be tiny (not even fence height) but looking at the fruit still on there I might get another batch to stew. #cooking #guava

I guess this one must have managed to stay attached to the tree since ~September. (They usually all fall off by late September and once they fall, they rot away quickly).
Looks like the squirrels had a nice snack.

My guava tree has a second flush of flowers after already setting its first round of fruit. It thrives on temperate Kangaroo Island, thanks to a sheltered microclimate.

I have always liked Chowards Violet candy and will usually buy it when I see it. It is such a unique flavor.
I had a craving the other day so I hopped online and discovered that there was a whole range of flavors! so of course I had to order a variety pack to try them. so far. Not necessarily thick, but it is fairly thick for a guava.
Not sure how old it is, but I recall it being pretty thin ~19 yrs ago.
This is the view I get while sitting in the hammock-swing that is attached to one of its branches. (Must have been recently pruned because the canopy is usually much more dense)

Luckily, I don't use Guava in any projects.
That means, a view by `Collections.unmodifiable*()` is closer to Guava than a (deep) copy.
