Bilbao was easily the best part of my trip to Spain and Portugal over the summer. In particular, the Gugenheim was a highlight.

Here is Maman, an overwhelming sculpture overlooking the Nervión River just outside the Gugenheim.

This week I've mainly been reading (no.8)
This is a bit specialist, but its such a good book: Francesca Esmay +2's Object Lessons: Case Studies in Minimal Art (2021) is v.interesting insight into the machinations around the creation, sale & curation of #minimalart focusing on problems around a gift of works donated to the #Gugenheim. It looks technical, but sets out much wider issues about the nature of the creative process really well. Excellent if expensive #arthistory
