ABC News - University of New South Wales engineering students earn provisional Guinness World Record as their Sunswift 7 becomes the fastest solar-powered race car

ICYMI - New solar-powered car record set by NSW Uni engineering students.

1000 km on a single charge in under 12 hours. While not the fastest trip by any car it was the fastest long(est) trip by any car on a single charge. (I'm not sure how to describe the record that was set.)
