Last night our local Labour councillor hosted the first #menopause cafe for #Guiseley It was a great experience to share our stories. Lots of frustration about accessing decent health care support. Lots of sad stories but also laughter and evidence of how resilient we are.
We went for a walk during #Octopus #EnergySavingHour Not a lot of evidence of energy saving in rest of #Guiseley

Making use of wind power to dry my sheets today. Having to keep an eye on rain clouds that could undermine my eco efforts

A lovely day for a walk from home in #Guiseley over the hill to Hawksworth and through ancient woodland to Reva Reservoir and back.
At our flask top we spotted this old brick from Guiseley Brickworks...back in the times the UK made stuff.
Beautiful walk from #Guiseley over #IlkleyMoor It was so cold so we treated ourselves to two cafe stops at the cute #CurlewCafe at Hawksworth and the welcoming #CornerstonesCafe in Menston

A belated introduction post.
I live in #Guiseley north west #Leeds with husband and cat. I am co-director of a #SME #CentreforFacilitation and work virtually and in person creating spaces for people to talk and be heard and for new ideas and innovative research to emerge.
I do not drive so use #bikes and #trains to get around. I am member of #OtleyCycleClub although recently done less cycling as the care needs of my elderly parents in #walthamstow increases. Like to #crochet to relax.
