Traveler Guitars reblogged one of my pics on the 'gram and I don't have the heart to tell them the only original bits are the neck and bridge assembly.
Everything else has been replaced/modded - locking tuners, a Kent Armstrong PAF (splittable, with different tone caps in each mode), CTS pots, PureTone jack and the body has had a forearm carve added, the controls were moved and it got attacked with rattle cans...

5 way superswitch wiring diagram for two humbuckers.
The two extra positions use one coil from each pickup and connect them in series. This is equivalent to a humbucker with the coils spread apart- you get humbucker-like tonality and output levels, but with a different flavour.

Onboard JFET buffer with mini cap selector. 0, 330, 560 or 890pF.
The cap selector replicates the tonal effect of cable capacitance, but without the added tone suck when you turn the volume down.
Over 1000hrs from a 9V battery.

Today’s #guitarproject happily took a back seat to a long videochat with our sons and a neighborhood dinner date with my lovely partner. Still did a fair amount. I was very pleased with how the bridge swap went, replacing the original that was mounted off-center. I was nervous about positioning the new holes right, I’ve only ever done drop-in replacements. I don’t want to be cursed with intonation struggles!
Today’s updates:
- Golden Age hard tail bridge
- Locking tuners
- Copper shielding
