🇪🇪 Estonia plans to close the Gulf of Finland to the #RussianFederation. (United24Media)
According to Foreign Minister Reinsalu, the government is going to introduce a coastal "adjacent" zone where the country can inspect ships within the territorial sea, in this case 24 nautical miles from the baseline.
By closing the #GulfofFinland, #Estonia will can conduct inspections of ships and vessels leaving the #Leningrad region and prohibit passage through the Gulf in case of refusal of inspection.
