I'm of the age group at which I don't remember the Gulf War, but I do remember it still being talked about somewhat frequently later.

I found this video about the war, and its position between the Iraq-Iran War and the Iraq War very interesting and I really like the approach to telling the information and the way it's presented.

Researchers "found that the severity of symptoms could be predicted by their degree of mitochondrial impairment, but not by their degree of inflammation. Further statistical analyses found that 17 of the 20 most common GWI symptoms were statistically related to mitochondrial function. Most of the left at the time lambasted the 90s #GulfWar (aka Iraq War I) as an oil grab. US wasn't exactly going around fighting every invasion out there. At the time, it was just that one.
