Listing 35 items, I got 23 spam replies, 11 people said they were interested but were never heard of again, 6 got my addrerss and never showed up, and 3 actually showed up and took their goods. Two of those goods were free so I have actually sold 1.
This sound familiar? Sheesh ๐คฆโโ๏ธ

Hello. I recently spent some time at the #BotanicalGardens. I hadn't seen this Mottlecah (Eucalyptus macrocarpa) before. It's fantastic! The matt, silver grey, large heart-shaped leaves are absolutely delightful. I will be heading back in spring to check out its bright red flowers.

Sent two messages about selling underwear - am not!
Sent message by some creep saying โI can think of something for us to do on Mondayโ when he was supposedly buying some drawers off me!!
God itโs Scammers Central! And donโt have the energy to deal with it as need to sell stuff & also dealing with things from Uganda! ๐ฑ

Yet another beautiful #sunset in Melbourne tonight, from a suburban street in #glenwaverley #Australia.
As the sun was setting in the west (first pic), the remnants of the sunshine illuminated the #Dandenongs (our hills out to the outer eastern-suburbs).
Notice how the collective hilltop looks bronze-like in colour from the sunshine, reflecting off the 200 hectares (estimation) of foliage in the distance?
Whilst a small proportion of these hills are a little bare, most are covered with local fauna such as densely packed #Gumtreeโs.
The shining silvery squares are house roofs and you can see two layers of cloud cover separated by grey sky.
The bottom cloud has a top layer of orange from the reflection of the sun.
You can see some birds in the distance too.
So too a dome structure (from a local shopping centre), power lines and green trees in the foreground.
Itโs chilly now (just after 7pm) and daylight savings ends along the eastern sea board of Australia, tonight.
So thatโs an extra hours sleep (bonus!) but the evenings will become darker sooner as we head deeper into autumn and soon, into our winter.
The cycle of the seasons continues. ๐
Mother Nature is marvellous huh?!

Saw this today on #gumtree. Now I have a serious #cycling question - is mounting the rim brakes down here near the bottom bracket a normal thing to do?
I've done some quick searching, and haven't yet found any other examples of this.
The bike is listed as a Fuji Absolute 2.3, 7 speed, even though it's clearly 21 speed, so I'm not sure of the level of #bicycle knowledge.
Brake maintenance would be more inconvenient with that mounting.
The centre of gravity would be a teensy bit lower, the cable might be a bit shorter, the common mounting point near the saddle would be freed for something else, but I can't see any really good reason for that mounting.
Am I missing something?
