Earlier when I was designing a spellcasting module for #Gunmetal system. I boiled it down to components i.e. effect, targets, range, and magnitude.
Like a buffet of spell components to build and write down in your own spellbook. Toying with the idea of creating 'arcane words' to create spell sentences
