so #gutters - the kind that you put on a #house to direct the rainwater careening down your roof. curious if anyone has thoughts? particularly interested in combining reasonable cost with eco-friendliness?

- Could I pipe the water from the gutters and create a small pond (like, really, really small)?
- Could I pipe the water into containers to use for watering the lawn?
- Should I get gutter covers to keep the leaves out?

For the first time in umpteen years, I finally have a leak-free guttering system around the house. You wouldn't think something so mundane could actually be so stressful.

OK Dad agreed to have the guy come clean the #gutters and hallelujah it's not #raining so that's happening today but he won't let me schedule an eye doctor for him so today we're picking our battles, right @cheri?

Seeing some blue jays working on their nest makes me wonder if anyone has trained birds to clean out gutters. Or drones. That would be nice.
