This illustration took some effort, because I had a distinct composition and painting style in mind. It pushed me outside my comfort zone, which was very challenging, but I wanted to create something worthy of the fanfiction it is meant to illustrate: a gorgeously written story that has a fascinating take on the #Vikings world we know.
