I'm still amazed by how such a simple formula can produce such an organic-looking pattern.

These are some quick renderings of domain-warped #gyroids clipped by a sphere. Rendered in Cycles with only 32 samples because I was too impatient, but also ended up liking the noisy renderings more 😀

Tonight in daily Harv's Island designs, we have a gyroid daycare center!

Shino and Eunice are currently on call. Two gyroids are taking a nap, but we have two awake gyroids that are getting fed by Eunice. Lots of cute toys for the baby gyroids to go and play when they want.
