On the #H800 headset repair, I chose to go with a different cable in the end. Mostly because it is the right diameter and has a higher current capacity - I know it's not long, but 0.2mm (32AWG) look a better match than 0.1mm (38AWG). It is also 4 core plus screen, so I will use the screen for battery ground.
