It's still early for location proposals for next #hackerbeach. But due to our unwritten rules, the next destination should be somewhere in Africa again (3rd one on the continent would be a charm), or the Caribbean for only the second time, or somewhere else entirely (i.e. not SE Asia, Central America, northern South America).

If you have any ideas for magical tropical places to visit for a month in January, your replies are very welcome!

@TallTim That's your opinion, and I respect it. But being outdoors is only a small part of #hackerbeach, and there are many reasons why meeting people IRL is a fantastic thing to do.

Back in Santa Marta, after a few weeks on the beach in a hippie town in the middle of nowhere, plus an amazing couple of days in the Tayrona national park. Another fantastic #hackerbeach is slowly coming to an end, as people are starting to leave.
