According to , people are most likely to alter their behavior to match their peer group or do well in comparison to others. I was reminded about this in a post I saw just yesterday on how to move forward on real .

Things that donā€™t usually work to convince people to take a (positive) action:
šŸš«Youā€™ll save money
šŸš« It benefits society, your family, friends
šŸš« Itā€™s good for you, your future
šŸš« Youā€™ll regret it, be punished, sanctioned, if you fail to act

But what DOES work is , if you have a chance of winning.

Saying ā€œMost Peopleā€¦,ā€ ā€œYouā€™re Superior to Others inā€¦,ā€ ā€œThose in Your Social Group Do Thisā€¦ā€ has real sway. The most. The best.

People run on autopilot. Overthinking be dammed.
