Played Crystar for the first time. So far it seems to be ok. It feels a bit easy, but I only made it past Chapter 1 so we'll see where this all goes.

This section has been a bit buggy (no pun intended, this game has a fair share of bugs). I can make it past this point, but sometimes the enemies don't always do what they're scripted to do, like explode. There should be an explosion here...

Played more BloodRayne 2 in between Desktop and Steam Deck today, it was just too nice to do all my gaming indoors. I destroyed the Shroud Tower, and I sacrificed a bunch of vampires to a sacred helicopter.

God Eater Resurrection is a bit of an odd duck of a game.

Firstly, you cannot (and never have been able to) buy it directly on Steam, as it comes bundled with God Eater 2: Rage Burst

Secondly, it felt a bit like another game I'd played in the past six months, and it turns out that Code Vein is (apparently) set in the same universe.

Unlike the soulslike world of Code Vein, though, GER is a hack-n-slash.

As for the game itself, it would have been difficult to stop the game at 15 minutes, because at that point, having spent a few minutes in the character creator tweaking my avatar, it was *still* in the intro video, setting up the universe. All up, it was 19 minutes from when I'd started the game, until I could first move around in-game.

The between-mission area has a fixed camera, and I couldn't find a comfortable playstyle on K/M or with controller, but in-game fighting has a free-movement camera, and I ultimately settled on K/M.

There is a LOT going on in switching weapon modes, and managing the different options in-battle, but it feels like it might be worth getting to know it a bit better.

So, I found a new, fun challenge. There is the game #hacknslash , as its name does not indicate, a puzzle game based on patching lua assembly code (with a very interesting abstraction layer).

I finished it a second time yesterday. But it have a secret, an encrypted file. Challenge: decrypt it with no external help (rule I already broke by looking at some tips the dev put in a Twitter post).

Playing #HadesGame today and it hits different in your 30's. You've been mashing buttons since forever and it's such a great #HackNSlash but the hands get tired and the fingers don't mash as quickly as they used to could. But goddamn it, you keep trying and fighting and dodging and putting those years to use and sure enough, you make it sometimes. #FeelsGoodMan
