Putting aside everything that makes this game awesome (art, writing, design), I especially like how the progression is built. As a player, I spend each run thinking about my next run. This mindset turns death into the last step of my plan instead of a miserable failure. Going further into the levels is almost a secondary goal that happens like a pleasant surprise. #Hades

It's a phenomenal game and while I enjoyed unlocking the true ending by finding all of these odd things during playthroughs, it was a mistake to lock all of the story progression behind hidden challenges. #Hades, IMO, is still the gold-standard when it comes to narrative progression in a roguelite. I love how it contextualizes multiple runs as part of the plot. 30XX tries the same, but it's not central to the experience the way it is in Hades.
