All morning I've been thinking about space. While doing my worldly tasks here on Earth. Been thinking about nebulas, star nursery. About the forces involved in all that. Forces difficult to comprehend. It is always good to zoom out sometime in life.

Its Christmas morning. I made myself coffee and stepped outside. Its freezing cold, maybe 10F, streets are deserted. As I sipped my coffee I thought to myself "Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened" Happy Birthday friend. Thanks for the wisdom. I said out loud.

The day stared with bunch of things to do. Call here, email there, reply here, drop off there, return here. Then I looked at the morning sun. I closed my eyes and let the sunlight shine on my face. What seamed to me for a long time. And I felt it, the sunlight recharging every cell in my body with its unending energy. "Thank you sun" I said. I said it out loud so I could hear myself.

I thought of the idea of starting a digital diary of a sort on Mastodon. Just my daily observations. It seems that time is flying by indeed and recording and preserving life's ordinary moments sounds like a worthy undertaking. Let's see how it goes.
