My view on Cyclone Hale: We got bugger all rain and virtually no wind where I am. The windows in our office which leak during heavy rain remained dry. My driveway which floods whenever there is heavy rain didn't flood.

Yet, our rivers are running high and there are roads closed just a few kilometres away.

It's like everything went right around us instead of over.

Very scary night here too, from strong winds caused by Cyclone #Hale, but no damage noticed here or loss of power tg. Should only last a couple more hours 🤞
