It was fogging real hard for a bit at the coast. Made an interesting effect on my painting and on my paint mixes. Not to mention a wet helmet, face and glasses on the ride to where I decided to stop.

Little sketch of our harbor’s foghorn. Just sits out there at the mouth of the harbor and toots every 10 seconds, 24/7/365. I don’t even hear it most of the time now, but when I do it’s a homey sound.

Pokey at the beach. In first photo we see the leading edge of tropical storm Hilary making its way north and giving us a big miss. Other photo shows the clouds coming down from the north with high level smoke mixed in there from BC, WA and OR. A day of near misses for us in #HalfMoonBay.

I love painting the bluffs around where I live south of San Francisco. The rock formation in the top piece turned out to be more prominent than I wanted. Then I remembered I had another photo from that bluff back towards the bluff I was standing on for the first photo, with the same rock visible. So we’ll go with this paired set.
