That view of 40 planes lined up in a herringbone pattern at dusk at #Halifax airport was just a vivid 22yr memory until I came across this article just now.

What the folks at the airport and surrounding area did to welcome and support so many stranded passengers without warning was just incredible.

I will never forget their genuine kindness at a time when the world felt like it was being shaken to its foundations.

Poking at some of the noises about proposed/incoming housing developments that are incoming in my part of #Halifax is kind of exciting, especially after a prolonged period of what's basically been complete abandoned-lots-everywhere stasis here in deepest suburbia.

The amount of "build up, not out" and "hey, what if we *don't* ban mixed-use projects so there's walktoable commercial spaces near apartments?" I'm hearing is heartening.

We just got home from #Halifax! I didn't post on socials that we were going, but we're back now! I seriously love Halifax, and I'm more convinced than ever I want to move there. Will post more later following decompression.
