I have carried the contents of the following image with me for thirty-six years.

This image is of the cover of the 1986 Leeward Side of Oahu telephone book.

It was GTE back then, long before Smartphones and Computer Laptops, and is now Hawaiian Telephone. I am listed in that book.

I was blessed to witness the 1984 eruption of Mauna Loa and the visit by #Halley's #Comet in 1986... which is represented in this image... there are more #telescopes now...

Another #Atari game of my youth and one I still play to this day: The #Halley Project. It's an AMAZING space game that I think also was released on the Apple II. You fulfill missions like "Go to the biggest moon of the solar system". (That one is a trap- back in the days it was Titan, not Ganymede.) And land on it. You have to navigate with a surprisingly accurate zodiac star map. When you're not moving, your timer stops.
