Did it become fashionable to write reviews of whatever, following the ? (I've seen at least and ) Are people in other fields aware of how the hallmarks of cancer panned out?
- it started with 6, was revised to 10 and re-revised to 14 hallmarks
- none of the hallmarks is common to all types of cancer
- many of the hallmarks are found in healthy cells/tissues
- didn't clarify the field much if at all

it takes more than a catchy title...

This is interesting... On the final exam of I asked students to make a critical assessment of the classical papers by Weinberg and Hanahan, and the students were not kind. OK, I always tell them to learn to be critical, but I did not see this coming.
