It happened in #Greece in 1311. A #Catalan mercenary company faced an entire feudal #army raised by the frankish lords ruling #Athens, overnumbering the catalans in men and armored #knights.
Catalans prepared the battlefield with a nearby river converting it in a big mud place, that stopped the knight's charges.
