Dr. López Prater is suing #Hamline for defamation and religious discrimination (good in both counts). Article also cites that university has backtracked on accusations of #Islamophobia (not that most have heard this) and is now trying to frame as a difficult choice affecting the #AcademicFreedom of both students and faculty. (TBC both deserve this, but this framing is nonsense).

Relies on bureaucratese (“she was emphatically not fired!”) and lies at every turn, and as is true of almost all admins who experience criticism, conflates critique of their actions with attacks in the institution itself.
