It showed very well and I watched it for 15 minutes or so and then took this video (up to my usual standards 😂 ). My 300th UK species!

An amazing visit to the Ham Wall reserve today in #Somerset Fifty-two species of #birds in sunshine. My first Garden Warbler, Lesser Redpoll, Hobby and Common Swift of the year. Great views of Marsh Harrier, Ruff, Spotted Redshank, Great Egret, Cetti's Warbler. Fabulous day out.

Today's adventure was to #Somerset; a Kentish Plover ringed and sat-tagged in #Germany spends its winter at Burnham on Sea. She was on the beach but still distant and wind was a-blowing. After that, off to RSPB Ham Wall and a beautiful #Garganey , two Glossy Ibis and Marsh Harrier action.
