My wife decided that she wants to watch the show #Numb3rs again (she's a math educator). We own some of it digitally but we have multiple seasons on #DVD.
Switching discs is a pain while in bed so I want to rip them so they can all so they can be added to a VLC playlist on my old mini PC (which we control with a wireless mini keyboard/trackpad).
I've used #Handbrake a lot recently to convert H.265 videos to H.264 for said mini PC and with a DLL it should rip DVDs too, but I can't get it to work!

Würde gerne für die #Schulhomepage ein #HeaderVideo einfügen, das gewählte #Wordpress #Theme lässt mehr als 8 MB nicht zu und eine geringe Dateigröße ist ja prinzipiell auch sinnvoll.

I didn't realize for way too many years, but #Handbrake can open several sources at a time.

That is, you open a source, add its videos to the queue, then open another source and add those videos, then open another source, and add those. etc, etc.

Set up a bunch of vids to convert / encode and come back the next day when they are ready.

Is #HDR worth it? I have #4K #HDR10 movies but as I'm ripping them, I'm noticing that #PLEX doesn't seem to properly supporting #HDR10 on #Roku, so on all of the family TVs, the colors get washed out and look just plain weird.

But, #Handbrake has filters so I can strip out the #HDR and convert the colors back down to #SDR. I'm thinking that might be the way to go.

@LALegault If you by chance need to re-encode into one of the supported formats then #Handbrake should do the trick.
