Continuing from yesterday, here are 2 original sketches of Jerry Mouse from the 1943 MGM "The Lonesome Mouse" - produced by Hanna and Barbera.
I try to collect pieces that either stand out to me as in their own right or make me remember specific character or cartoons I watched at some point as a kid. I think these lovely drawings win on both counts.

A photo of , who in my eyes was THE animator (that isn't one of the ). He worked on characters from some of the greatest movies ever made, such as Grumpy from , Stromboli in , himself, Chernabog in , among other things. His animation is so solid, but loose, powerful and truly alive feeling.
