Today I was able to head the little pocket drum I posted the other day. I also got to head a big 11in (head diameter) x 24in ashiko.
Once the heads dry I will shave the hair from the playing surface, sand them smooth, condition the head, then lace the drum and put some tension on the lacing to stretch both the lacing and the head I will be coming back in a day or two to crank it down to final tension.
