@tiedye I made up a gallon batch of soda mixture, thinking I could soak the bamboo fleece, a dress I want to overdye and some swatches. Nope! That fleece sucked up every last drop and I couldn't even wring it out. If dyeing uncut yardage becomes a thing, I'm going to have to plan out the logistics better

I've done so much ice dye this summer! I've had lots of lovely hangouts with friends ice dyeing together. Love hearing how excited people are washing out their pieces afterwards, and seeing them wear new tie dye in person! I have one more hangout planned next week, we'll see how warm it stays into fall.

This project reflects some changes in my life. 1 I am now more excited for my winter wardrobe than my summer one, which is the opposite of when I wore vintage. 2 making my own blanks makes me even more invested in the dye outcome.
