I've really been getting into #retrogaming.
So far I've bought an #anbernic #rg353vs, #rg405v, #rg35xx, and a #miyoominiplus. That's in addition to the #New3DSXL, #GameBoyAdvance, and #GameBoyAdvanceSP I already have. What's really bad is I keep looking at the horizontal #handhelds as well.
I think I might have a problem.

Woo hoo the #Lakka @PINE64 Box is ready for itโs maiden voyage. I finished setting it up last night. This is should be a #retrogaming powerhouse for my needs; I am focused on 16 bit and below as well as pre-3D #handhelds.

It's funny that we complain about thumbsticks feeling a bit spongy or screen resolution not being crisp enough when a lot of us were old enough to play #handhelds that needed an external plug in light, a clip-on magnifier or the monstrosity below. I'm guilty of it too, it just amuses me how far we've come in a few decades.

Meistens nutze ich dann aber nur eine Sache und das ist oft das Tablet ๐
Habt ihr auch dazu euch zu รผberladen und dann gar die #Unterhaltung unterwegs komplett zu ignorieren, weil es z.B. zu laut ist?

I just want the standard set of buttons, but with the membranes of an #NES controller.
I bought a set of #logitech F310's but the directional pad doesn't hold the cardinal directions well enough.
It's super important in #retro #games but the microswitch directional pads on #Xbox controllers are a travesty.
Anyone tried a #PS5 controller with #Anbernic #RetroArch #handhelds? Can they operate as USB controllers too?

It doesn't matter how beefy a device is if it's always plugged into the same wall socket.
You can't take it everywhere with you.
So what? Well regular consoles feel closer to gaming PCs. You're permanently seated on a chair or on a sofa. Always in the same spot.
That's where the #3DS and #Switch differ greatly. And I appreciate that.

Nothing quite like the disappointment of keeping your #Nintendo3DS altogether all these years only to lose your stylus at the start of 2023. Had always been weirdly loose fitting but apparently it's finally decided it lives in the wild now.
*sigh* Suppose I need to figure out where to find #2DSXL replacement stylus from, prefer to find one that fits the slot than one to go in the carry case. Bother.
