This is a large paper artwork by #Artist Fu Xiaotong
It is made up of holes in #HandmadePaper. Each hole is counted and written on the artwork (usually hundreds of thousands)
We framed it in a super narrow walnut #frame, float mounted on white mount board.

I'd like to try the process used for Broussonetia but with _Galium aparine_ and perhaps some Urtica --so that's Sticky Willies and nettles. Will it work? Other methods? I've got a small screen & deckle sorted but how to prepare the herbs?

True story: I was blending up a large amount of pulp just then while mulling over the piece of work I was going to make with the #HandmadePaper. The work is a protest piece and will have hidden words in it.
I look into the blender jug and I see this (see photo). I chuckle to myself as this happened spontaneously, I have not put words in to this mix. I tell myself it’s lucky I’m not a superstitious person or I would think this was a message.
Then my blender overheated and died.
