Right now I'm warping a loom for the first time in many months, using finer yarn (20/2 cotton, for the #handweavers out there) than I am generally inclined to use. Lots of delicate fingerwork, patience, and good light required. But it's still meditative in its way, connects me to ... something. Can't say what.
