Lakeville Lake at Sunset
This little lake is not far from #Kentville, Nova Scotia on the side of a main road in the Annapolis Valley. In the winter there are ice fishing huts scattered over the surface, but in the #summer it's filled with people swimming. The scene is so peaceful with that calm surface and almost perfect reflection. Have a peaceful day, friends.

I saw this bit, and I know there is a thriving sub-culture of folks who want to extend lifetime beyond our current sell by date.
Describing age as a disease is a dismissal of a lot of fundamental stuff about humans.
I suppose that acceptance by a regulatory body like FDA that age is a disease would open the floodgates of products that are advertised to 'reverse aging' or some such nonsense.
It's not just for cosmetics.

There’s a frighteningly large percentage of us who apparently left birdsite to re-toot tweets. That’s a bizarre perspective on how to build a new community, really. Especially since so many of the ones doing it claim to be here to escape birdsite.
That’s my last complaint/observation on this topic. Y’all do y’all. It just seems really….what’s the word I’m looking for….stockholm syndromy….to me.
