SSD’s should just be viewed as the Drive you put the Operating System/s on, but never depend on.

If you had a time machine, and delivered blueprints for a DNA sequencer and all the associated stuff back to 1990, or maybe even 1985, scientists would have had no trouble at all making a modern DNA sequencer except for one issue:

Once upon a time I installed a 5 Megabyte hard drive in my IBM PC compatible system. I thought I could never use up such massive capacity during my life.
Now I have 6TB in my NAS alone and it's starting to fill up. Damn you, JPEG + RAW files.
